Digital India is no more a campaign. It can be called a double-sided national level movement. On one hand the Govt of India aims to ensure that government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. On the other hand, large, medium and small organizations are embarking on the Digital Enterprise journey to increase productivity, profitability, market shares, and most importantly customer delight. It is estimated that in 2017-18 fiscal over 23% of the $60 Bn spent on ICT in the Indian domestic market was towards Digital. And that in the coming years this share is only going to go up.
